Yeah, I'm not talking about any skills ([ward of stability], [Balanced stance] or[dolyak signet] for example) that prevent knockdown, just large monsters that can't be knocked down.

Wow, Ursan whiners really do find their way into every thread.
Helping my friends through THK was a pain just due to giant stomp spamming. And no, I wasn't using Ursan.

If you don't like giant stomp, what you do there is bring anti KD skill (ie. I am Unstoppable!, Balanced Stance). They would still knock you down with this change, unless you can charge your KD skill so fast and you're so godly at interrupting that you can interrupt all the Giant Stomp. Warrior already has interrupt skill, bring those instead. GW is a game, it doesn't have to be realistic. Even though I don't see anything unrealistic about not being KD = not being interrupt.
While we are at it though, why don't we buff bleeding. Because whenever I bring sever artery/crippling slash + gash to a place with enemies that are immune to bleeding, I can't Deep Wound them. Buff up bleeding when fighting these foes to compensate that.

Meh, I thought it would be a nice addition to PvE.

so a KD that knocks down a smaller foe should have an effect on a larger one? No. Try running with a shield into a rhino. The only reaction you will get is a gore and the rhino stomping your corpse into the ground. KD isn't like an interrupt. It's a use of force. spells and skills that interrupt don't necessarily knock down.
/agree with sage on this one. Like PvE needs more stuff to make it ridiculous.

I like when people apply real life "realism" to, attention, GAMES.

Oh yeah and the next time your best freind is being mauled by a bear just shout "Save Yourselves!" and they will be fine. Seriously I tried it.
And actually yes, if you hit the Rhino in the head very hard I am sure you could stun it for a second, or at least distract it.

And I pre-veil people in real life in case of hexes, so that I can quickly remove them.

Stop with the logic because it's a game...if Anet says that you cannot KD something, then you can't (unless it's a bug).
Oh and forgive me if I misunderstood but what you are saying is that monsters that cannot be knockdown should be interrupted by something that causes a KD but the same thing shouldn't apply to those that have an anti-KD skill ?

Exactly, KD would have exactly the same effect as it has now to players. Its just the large PvE monsters that cannot be knocked down that this would affect.

this also means one giant stomp would interupt all the other giants in whatever they are doing ...

Just don't KD them, they go down rather easely anyway

Um, no. Since when are you affected by your allies offensive spells/skills?

How is applying "don't like them, don't read them" going to help?

Short female chars shouldn't be able to KD max height male wars - they're just way too big for them. Male sins are an exception though since they're anorexic.
Anyways, it is a stupid mechanic. Not sure what Ursan has to do with anything - I'd never use a warrior build without a KD, in both PvE and PvP.
Non-fleshy stuff that can't bleed is also stupid.....Sever artery is already bad enough as it is.
They probably did it so it doesn't ruin the experience for silly people that like to roleplay.
